The Tanner High School team emerged from "The Pit" ready to attack. They will lose momentum & in the end, they can't come back to lose 54-30 to Lauderdale County High School Tigers.

"It was something for us to look back on and fix like last year. I just need to fix it and figure out who we have to have where and improve," the Oscar Bonds coach said.

The Rattlers had the ball first and sent Trevor Pe People's into the box after just two attempts. There was one more good point and Tanner took an early 7-0 lead.

Lauderdale County will react quickly to their own encounter, but they will go two passes and miss leaving them 7-6 behind.

It won't take long for them to catch up. Tanner's Karl Parham will make an interception in the next training session, putting the Rattlers back in defense at the 10-yard line.

Lauderdale pushed it, but made two hits and missed again, leading 12-7. The Rattlers were able to rally for a quick response.

Parham throws for Skylar Townsend, connecting for touchdown. The pluses are good and Tanner leads by 14-12.

Bonds said after the game, "The game that's going on looks pretty good. We need to make the game that's running better."

After Lauderdale receives the ball back, Tanner will return the interception benefit by returning the ball to Rattler's half of the court. They will score the first goal, leading 17-12.
