Wolves have a trip to Elland Road in the hope of starting the new season in the best way possible. Before the game, Bruno Lage filled out his starting lineup and bench.

The Wolves manager has opted to start a back four with new summer signing Nathan Collins joining Max Kilman at the heart of the defence.

Wolves were dealt another blow when midfielder Joao Moutinho was unable to arrive at Elland Road due to injury.

Hwang Hee-chan stands out against the Portugal international, who signed a new contract at Molineux this summer.

But it is not the starting lineup that has attracted the attention of Wolves fans on social media.......

Instead, fans pointed to the bench, including Conor Coady, who has been linked with a move. The replacements also include some young players.

This resulted in fans making transfer requests to the club in the final weeks of the window. Here's what some had to say.

Kev Baker:  At least we have more rumors about Raul & Moutinho.. #wwfc. That said, still a good starting line and a winnable game

Tom: Let's hope the first number 11 is a big hit! This bench screams for the participants!! ......#wwfc

Finn Winddog:  I'm happy at the start of 11. The bench isn't bad but it gets better with more new faces. Buzz to play now #wwfc

Matthew Howell:  One shot to lose Moutinho, more emphasis on getting into midfield. The first team was excellent but the bench was not inspiring. Stay strong guys!!! #wwfc

Phil:  Never mind about the starting 11, but you need Batshuyi and Nico on loan by Tuesday at the latest. #threadbare #wwfc

Dave: I'm happy with the starting 11 but the bench isn't nearly good enough #wwfc James: I like that starting from XI. Benches not too much #wwfc

Nigel Pritchard: #wwfc This couch looks so thin. Where is the game changer? Where is the scorer? I hope I'm wrong.....
